Treatment/TreatingIn one embodiment, "treatment" or "treating" refers to an amelioration, prophylaxis, or reversal of a disease or disorder, or at least one discernible symptom thereof. For example, treating rosacea or its symptoms by lessening the redness of the skin. In another embodiment, "treatment" or "treating" refers to an amelioration, prophylaxis, or reversal of at least one measurable physical parameter related to the disease or disorder being treated, not necessarily discernible in or by the mammal. In yet another embodiment, "treatment" or "treating" refers to inhibiting or slowing the progression of a disease or disorder, either physically, e.g., stabilization of a discernible symptom, physiologically, e.g., stabilization of a physical parameter, or both. In yet another embodiment, "treatment" or "treating" refers to delaying the onset of a disease or disorder. |
