Skin disorders that were significantly associated with emotional triggers were: hyperhidrosis; lichen simplex chronicus; rosacea; dyshidrosis; atopic dermatitis; urticaria; psoriasis; acne vulgaris and seborrheic dermatitis. In the case of rosacea, the biologic incubation between stress and clinical change was found to be 2 days.
